Respect the Walk

From many directions come humanity

People comparing my problems, to his

Denying there own

But isn’t it obvious there is no better

There is no worse

Money brings security in the ability to pay bills,

But can money fend storms hurricanes

Ask Cuba, the Gulf, P.R. Cash could never restore their loss

Certainly money doesn’t kiss you and hold you in the dark

Without love

Or without money? Given the choice.

I’d rather be me

I won’t judge your shoes be they shabby or new

Because as strong as I am

I could not walk them

But do recognize

Nor can you walk in mine

But we can respect each other’s walk.
