What do you think when someone sends you something like this in your messenger?

Do you think do you these are real? Are people really doing this?

If it was on the news, why have I not seen it? Why haven’t you posted it about? Why is this messenger text the first time I’m hearing about it? I’m on social media daily. This stuff seems pretty scary.

Why do people send chainmail like this, if it’s not real?

I mean yes if it’s real we need to know- so I could see sharing it. Even the complimentary encouraging ones it makes sense to pass those along an easy way to brighten someone’s day.

But After reading that messenger message- (if that’s not redundant)

Now –

if I happen see a girl crying on the side of the road I have a plan I’m not approaching her at all or taking her anywhere.

I’ll call out to her from a safe distance and ask if she’d like me to call the her parents or 911. If she does I will – otherwise I’m out.

Now back to the posts are they real? Can anyone give me links to news about people having fallen victim to this? And if no one can- I ask why would someone originate this if it was made up? And why would one do this ? Is this posting propaganda to cause more fears. People eliciting pandemonium. Why would someone want to worry people?

Some also recommend not passing them, “chainmail is a way for people to transmit computer viruses.” a friend told me.

People have all types of conspiracy theories, I have a conjured up a few of my own. But really readers, friends, family, foes- all who are reading this-share your thoughts…
