Would God Forgive satan?

By Tracie Bernardi when I was in prison.

“Pardon me the devil said unto the Lord,

if you forgive me all of earths innocence will be restored.

Did you Jesus Christ not die for forgiveness of all those who sin?

Where is the line drawn?

where does it start?

where does it end?

Isn’t that father what you meant?

When you said all those who repent?

Can’t I, the devil confess that you are Lord

and I to taste heavens reward?

Can we finally bridge the gap between heaven and hell?

Can I the devil Bask in your forgiveness as well?

Can’t you command your clouds to burst open with rain?

TO once and for all

Extinguish Hells flame?

You have cast me into the fires of damnation

 but I the devil,

have finally had my own revelation

as odd as this may seem,

I realized I’ve been playing on a losing team.

I know that I have pursued your children calling them to join in my wicked ways,

I have turned your beauty into pure disgrace.

From the beginning I have influenced your people to eat fruits that were for bidden,

I have caused racism, violence and abuse.

I have kept scientists for discovering the truth from finding cures for disease.

I have brought believers to their knees.

I have taught sons to hate their own mothers.

Men to steal from their own brothers.

I have caused children to think that drugs numb pain

and to believe that they can find love in a gang.

I have caused tons of mischief and harm, caused women to stick needles in their own arms.

I have driven healthy minds insane

I have taught people to worship financial gain.

I’ve taught fathers to gamble their families into debt

I have caused human beings to do so many things they now regret.

I have dropped mothers off at prison gates

I have turned good men into inmates.

I have lied cheated killed and destroyed,

with your children’s minds I have toyed

the list of my transgressions never ends,

Now Lord,  can EVEN I make amends?

I struggled with you for your power and control,

but on me sin has taken it’s toll.

I want to feel heavens embrace,

 your goodness I recognize I can’t replace.”

“So Dear Lord” the devil said once again  “May I too be forgiven?”

With a smile and a sigh the Lord replied,

“ I knew this day would surely come yes I forgive you too my Son.”
