In jail in the winter when we wanted to keep the milk they gave us at chow to eat cereal later, first we had to smuggle it out of the chow hall and then we’d leave it outside in the snow

❄️ and then we’d go out go to the next meal and on the way back we’d have a friend distract the guards we’d grab the milk out the bush.

Sometimes we got caught sometimes we didn’t it was like Russian Roulette.

And when it wasn’t winter and people needed to keep our milk cold 🥶 they put it in plastic bag and floated it in the toilet.

I was horrified by the idea of drinking a milk that was in the toilet. But they justified it by saying it was protected from being in the bag.
