My response: not to her because I don’t know her situation but to this question in general. From my experience. Advice I wish I could have given myself.

Funny we say we are finally seeing someone’s true colors after we been knew how somebody was.

We see them for who they are but we ignore it in the name of love and friendship and forgiveness and because we are already so invested. But we saw the red flags we just chose to let it go, to keep the peace or what have you…

Truth is we see the true colors long before we get pissed enough to post it on facebook. We choose to ignore the pattern behavior and chose to turn the other cheek. Because we think it’s the right thing to do.

Verses get the fuck outta there.

It’s okay we are human we want to do the loving thing and forgive others how we’d want to be forgiven.

But when will enough be enough?

True colors are usually apparent right from the start. They are hard to hide.
