To all those who judge me and hate me.

So I woke up to email from someone who watched the most recent podcast I was in. They created an email just for me- Whydidudoit@gmail.com

And then whoever this person is proceeded to say this to me,
“Just seen your program on TV.. why didn’t you mention the murder detailes…
Why didn’t you talk about the fact u took a mother of a 4 year old away from her child?
What programs are you interested in working with?
Until you create an organization for children who lost thier kids to people like you.. You have not done completely fulfilled your obligation after ended a life.”

Now for this person and anyone else out there who agrees with them. I’m going to say :

  1. I believe in GOD- I am confident I am forgiven.
  2. If you can’t forgive my transgressions DONT expect forgiveness for yours.
  3. Look up the definition of Felony Murder.
  4. For the first 13 years of my incarceration. I lived my life hating myself for what I was a part of. I self injured and even attempted suicide. But after 7 years of Solitary confinement I began to experience forgiveness in its true form.
  5. I stopped being self destructive worked my way out of solitary confinement and became a mentor. I became a college student, participated in programming and I worked to get BETTER. To heal. To forgive.
  6. And 23 years later I came home. I could have kept what happened a secret but I saw that God meant for me to be a witness and he wanted me to create awareness. So despite having to deal with unforgiving judgmental outsiders looking in- I still took the chance and told the world the truth. Because i knew it was for the greater Good.
  7. I have dedicated my life to helping others. Children included.
  8. I have come to far in my mission and I have been able to help hundreds of people as a result of my experiences.
  9. Im not going to let you MAKE me feel bad about the work I do- I’m on an assignment from God!!!!!!!!🎤

  1. Don’t ever let anyone discourage you, you most definitely have given back to the community by helping bring awareness to the issues prevalent on our “justice” system so that change can take place and those returning to society return better than they went in.
All haters clearly are incapable of seeing the big picture. It is impossible to bring back the lives we took but we can help prevent new lives from being ended by being proactive and witnessing to the short comings of the system and encouraging true change and rehabilitation.
    Keep your head up .
